Young entrepreneurs help manual therapists with e-commerce
E-commerce and digital presence are becoming more important every year. However, one industry that has lagged behind in this development is manual therapists such as chiropractors, massage therapists and naprapaths.
“There are so many people who walk around with, for example, back pain and neck pain without knowing that there is really good help available” – Ivar Bohlin
The FasciaClinics is a new concept that provides professional therapists with a market-leading digital presence and makes it easy for people to find specialists in the treatment of back pain, neck problems and runner’s knee, among other things.
Behind the initiative are the brothers Ivar, 24, and Axel Bohlin, 30, who work on a daily basis to help manual therapists through the company Atlasbalans.
“In March 2020, many customers who had lost almost all their turnover overnight called and wanted tips on marketing. I felt we had to do something and that’s when the idea for FasciaClinics was born”
Since the launch in July 2020, around 40 clinics have started up and the goal is to have another 1500 clinics up and running in Sweden and Europe by 2025.
The vision is that it will soon be as obvious to go to the FasciaClinics as to healthcare.
Facts: What are the FasciaClinics
At the FasciaClinics, specialists work in the treatment of back pain, neck problems and runner’s knee, among other things.
The concept is developed by Atlasbalans AB, which since 2010 has delivered award-winning treatment equipment, training and services to more than 500 health and wellness professionals.

Since 2015, Atlasbalans has specialised in new research on Fascia, the network of connective tissue that envelops everything in the body, and today runs The Fascia Guide, the world’s largest website on Fascia, including a research database with over 500 articles.

Fascia stretching is vital in injury rehabilitation
Fascia is a system of flexible and mobile connective tissue that envelops everything in our body. If our fascia system is healthy, we are healthy, but when the fascia becomes stiff, tight or inflamed, there are consequences.
Since the fascia is such a vital part of our metabolism, stabilizing function, musculoskeletal system, has a force-transmitting effect and helps us feel our position, many problems can be traced to the fascia, or affect the fascia.
What happens when Fascia breaks through?
In the last few months alone, Fascia has been mentioned in completely new ways, in completely new contexts
